Project’s name: Enhancing Trustworthiness of AI/ML Systems in 6G Networks through Blockchain and XAI (TRUSTCHAIN-X)
Project description:
The TRUSTCHAIN-X project seeks to address critical challenges in the security, transparency, and trustworthiness of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) systems designed for future 6G networks. By integrating advanced Blockchain technology with Explainable AI (XAI), TRUSTCHAIN-X aims to develop an innovative framework capable of ensuring secure and interpretable AI-driven decision-making processes within decentralized and resource-constrained network environments. The intended outcomes include enhanced protection against cybersecurity threats such as adversarial attacks, data poisoning, and unauthorized model manipulation.
Throughout the project, TRUSTCHAIN-X plans to leverage sophisticated cryptographic techniques (e.g., Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs)), to ensure privacy preservation and verifiable transparency in AI operations without compromising data confidentiality. Additionally, the project intends to design lightweight blockchain protocols and real-time XAI models optimized specifically for resource-constrained edge devices. Through close academic and industrial collaboration, TRUSTCHAIN-X aspires to establish robust foundations for trustworthy AI applications, laying essential groundwork for reliable and secure communication systems in emerging 6G technology.
