26 projects presented at Software Campus Summit

On July 2, participants of Software Campus once again gave insights into their research. 26 projects from the years 2014 to 2017 were presented at the summit with demonstrators and posters – from the planned project to the final result.

In total, 70 visitors participated in the event, among them representatives of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the lead partner DLR as well as the program’s industry and research partners. The participants’ IT research projects are each realized with an industry partner and funded by BMBF with up to 100.000€.

Dr. Harald Schöning, head of research at Software AG, congratulated 23 graduates for the successful completion of the program and presented them with their graduation certificates. In a “reverse pitch” representatives of the industry partners Holtzbrinck Publishing Group, Carl Zeiss AG, TRUMPF, Huawei, Scheer Holding and Software AG presented entry and career opportunities as well as fields of research in their companies.
