“More women in digitisation – from classrooms to business to politics.”
The Software Campus supports the new initiative She Transforms IT, which presented itself for the first time on the 30th of November 2020 at the German Digital Summit. Social media exchanges for more women in digitalisation are taking place under the hashtag #SheTransformsIT and in the LinkedIn group.

In order to advance digitisation in Germany in a broad and innovative way, the initiative advocates for more diversity in the IT industry. The levels considered are: Education, science, business, media and politics. The goal is to advance a societal transformation for which politics can create the framework. Starting with the change of mediated role models in kindergarten, school and career training, genderstereotype-free media and teaching offers are also being considered.
