First Workshop at Bosch

Building Bridges

Since Bosch became our industry partner earlier this year, it is exciting news that their Software Campus training season has finally started.
From the 9th to the 10th of July,2024, 12 Software Campus participants attended the training “Fit for Business with the big 5: ABBA, Change, Pitch, Innovation & Entrepreneurship” at the Bosch headquarters in Stuttgart-Feuerbach.

Within the two-day training, our PhD students got insights into a broad field of skill categories offered by the Bosch Digital team.
As inclusion, diversity, and equity are fundamental in every field, in this training Bosch has set the focus on intercultural competencies by talking about culture, mindset and change. Next to the ethical considerations, the Bosch team shared methods on how to scout important trends and establish corporate strategies, building bridges to connect theoretical knowledge with practical appliances to boost innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.

During the first day, our participants got all the information needed, worked in groups and shared their ideas, and outcomes. Followed by the last and more interactive day, with a special pitch training our future leaders were able to not only strengthen their pitching skills but to develop a new product using the Bosch innovation framework and received feedback from internal Bosch experts.

The Software Campus aims to build the leaders of tomorrow, and we are more than pleased to offer such a great training together with our industry partner.

We are happy to pursue the journey of IT innovation and entrepreneurship to positively impact talent acquisition, building bridges between academia and industry, and supporting our future leaders.

What a great kick-off!
